Homemade Chocolate Spread

Prep Time: 1 min | Yields: 2 cups


  • ½ cup almonds (soaked overnight in 2 cups of water)
  • 3 dates, pitted
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp. hazelnut extract
  • ½ cup almond milk
  • Pinch sea salt



  1. Drain soaked almonds and discard the remaining liquid.
  2. Place all the ingredients into the Vida Sana™ High Power Blender and secure lid.
  3. Press the Dips/Spreads mode to blend, repeat if you want a creamier texture. Use the tamper to push ingredients down for better blending.
  4. Once done, store spread in a glass container with lid in the fridge. Can last up to 2 weeks.
