Brussels Sprouts with Lime

Prep Time: 5 min | Cook Time: 13 min | Serves: 4


  • 3 tbsp. honey, divided
  • ½ cup lime juice
  • 1 tbsp. fresh garlic
  • Jalapeño chile powder to taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 lbs. Brussels sprouts, halved
  • 1 purple onion, sliced thickly
  • Cilantro
  • 1 red jalapeño, sliced



In a large bowl, add three tablespoons of honey, lime juice, garlic, jalapeno chile powder, salt and pepper. Mix everything very well, set aside.

Preheat Skillet on medium-high heat for about 5 minutes. While Skillet is heating up, add Brussels sprouts and onion to the lemon and honey sauce; mix well.

Sprinkle water droplets into the Skillet; when the droplets bead and dance across the surface, reduce heat to medium.

Add the seasoned Brussels sprouts and onions to Skillet, cover with the lid and turn valve to Steam Whistle position.

When the Whistle sounds, turn the valve to the Steam-Seal™ position, and turn heat off. Let it rest covered for 5 minutes.

Remove cover, stir in cilantro and red jalapeno slices.

NOTE: The Brussels sprouts can be serve as an appetizer or as part of a main plate with the protein of choice.
