Rotisserie Chicken

  • Chicken Rub: (can be substituted with your favorite chicken rub)
    • 1 tsp. paprika
    • 1 tsp. dried thyme
    • ½ tsp. sea salt
    • ¼ tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp. Princess House® Pure Grapeseed Oil
  • 4 lbs. whole chicken
  • 1½ cups chicken broth
  • 1 onion, quartered
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 6 cloves garlic, peeled



  1. Combine paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Rub seasoning over outside of chicken.
  2. Add oil to the Pressure Cooker and brown chicken, breast side down; cook for 7 minutes with the lid off.
  3. Flip the chicken, breast side up; add broth, onion, lemon juice and garlic cloves. Close the lid, bring to pressure at high heat, then lower heat and cook at pressure for 25 minutes.
  4. Use natural release method to expel steam. Remove from Pressure Cooker and let stand for 5 minutes before carving.
